We are a law firm with over 25 years of history, born from the merger of two established practices: Millet Advocats and SEV Associats. Today we are a team of 30 professionals with offices in Barcelona and Madrid, specialising across three departments: Litigation, Commercial and Civil. What areas of law does MES Legal specialise in?
We work across three departments: the Litigation Department, specialising in debt recovery, civil litigation, banking and insolvency law; the Commercial Department, covering corporate law, M&A and banking and finance; and the Civil Department, dedicated to real estate law and intellectual and industrial property. This structure allows us to provide comprehensive legal coverage from a single firm.

Do you offer dedicated services for financial institutions?
Yes. We provide a dedicated service for banks, insurers and asset managers: NPL portfolio management, mortgage enforcement, defence against unfair clause claims (floor clauses, IRPH, mortgage costs), revolving credit litigation and REO asset due diligence. We work with monthly reporting and objective-based management models.

Where do you operate? Only in Barcelona?
We have offices in Barcelona (Av. Diagonal 472, 6th floor, 4th door) and Madrid (Méndez Álvaro 20). We operate throughout Spain and advise international clients and foreign companies wishing to establish themselves or invest in the Spanish market.

How does the first consultation work?
The first consultation is free and without obligation. We assess your situation, inform you of the available legal options and, if we decide to proceed together, we propose a clear fee arrangement: fixed fee, hourly rate or conditional fee depending on the matter.

What languages do you work in?
Our team works in Catalan, Spanish and English. We can assist both local clients and international companies and investors operating in Spain.
